Week of April 26-30 2010

Theme & Activities: 

Wow!  This is our last week in April.  The year is quickly going by. Our theme last week was Farm and we will continue this theme this week.  We will sort and count farm animal counters.  We will paint pink pigs with chocolate pudding to make them dirty! We have fun farm manipulatives at the table toys table.  There are beans in the water table to explore and sort. The house area will be changing back to housekeeping this week.  The children have missed and asked for the food and dishes back!  So we will have wonderful food prepared this week!  We will be discussing farm animals and their babies.  At the end of the week we will watch a fun farm video about a day on the farm with lots of music.

Reminders: 

Please check your child's bookbag each day.  Toys only on Fridays for Show & Tell.

We have had many children bringing toys to school on days other than Friday.  Please clean out your child’s bookbag so that there is plenty of room for artwork coming home.

If your child is ill and has a fever, please keep them at home until he/she is fever free 24 hours without the use of medicine. 

We will be going outside now that the weather is warmer.  Please dress your child to go outside.
