Welcome Summer

We are known as School Age 1.  Our class has children going into kindergarten and those who have just been.  We are ready for a fun filled three months.  My expectations are high for the children to respect others, themselves and toys, listen to all teachers, use gentle hands, quiet voices and clean up when asked.  If we can do all these things each day, then we can earn our sticker, go on fieldtrips, and have great fun.

Each month we will have a different theme.  June will start off with castles.  Our study will include fairy tales, princes and princesses, knights and fairies, architechture, and fabric and textures.  With our final week in June discussing building materials.  Our field trips include Washington Park, Bonker's, Petco, Villa Kathrine, Senior Center, bowling, JoAnn's, Menard's and skating.

Once a week we plan to walk to Washington park to play in the fountain.  Please bring bathing suit, towel, extra clothes and sunscreen.
