Preschool For All Newsletter
Week of March 15-19 2010
Theme & Activities:
This week we will be preparing for those ornery leprechauns! We will build traps and hope that we can catch one on Wednesday, March 17th. If you have any trap materials-small boxes, tape, cotton balls, paper towel rolls, etc., please send them in tomorrow- Tuesday.
We also will begin our Nursery Rhyme theme. We will read and sing many nursery rhymes. We will count out pennies for “Hot Cross Buns”, bake muffins in the house area for “The Muffin Man”, find the animals in the block area for “Little boy Blue”, play with water in the water table like “Jack & Jill”, jump over the candlestick like “Jack Be Nimble” and toss peas (bean bags) into the pot for “Peas Porridge Hot”.

Thank you:
Do you know what a skink is? Your child does. Special thank you to Dr. Jeannie Spooner for bringing in all the wonderful pets to share with us-City the dog, Auggie the cat, Shiny Bright Eyes the hamster, the leopard gecko, the skink, the bunny, and the pet snake. Another thank you to Mr. Isaiah, Lanaya’s uncle for brining in “Blue” or “Azure” the dog and showing us the many tricks and talents he has. He knows how to count in Spanish—YES THE DOG does!
Reminders:
Please check your child's bookbag each day. Toys only on Fridays for Show & Tell.
Newsletters and monthly calendars will be on the Cheerful Home Website as we go Green!
We will be going outside now that the weather is warmer. Please dress your child to go outside.
Thank You
