It's hard to believe it's July already. It feels like Summer just started and we are already at the half way mark. We would like to welcome Tanner to the infant room as we say good-bye to Alyssa as she moves up to the toddler room this month. We would also like to say Happy Birthday to Abby. Christine will be going on her maternity leave this month, so there will be a new face in the room until her return. For the infants that are pulling up and on the go, we ask that you might start thinking about putting shoes on. We go outside and they might scrape up their little feet! Our themes for this month are Red, White & Blue, Ice Cream, Watermelon, and Baseball. We would like to say a big "Thank You" to Shay (Hayden's Mom) for all of the toy donations she has brought. It is very much appreciated! That is all for this month. Remember to keep working on those self-help skills like sitting-up, crawing, holding bottles, using spoons, etc. Thanks, The Infant Room

June Newsletter Welcome to June. Summer officially begins this month even though it feels like it has been here a while already. So just as a reminder, if you haven't already and would like to bring sunscreen for those days we go outside to have fun in the sun as well as an extra change of cooler clothes for the "uh-oh" days. Sadly this month we say good-bye to Ava and Scarlet as they move up to the Toddler Room to make way for our two new arrivals in babyland. Our themes for this month are Bugs, Fathers, and Oceans. We also will begin sprinkler play this month as a Summer activity, so be watching your daily sheets for reminders of those days. We ask that you provide Little Swimmers and a bathing suit for sprinkler play. Any questions or concerns please feel free to ask. TTFN. Thanks the Infant Room

WOW, its December and as we come to a close in 2011, we also come to the end of Cheerful Home's 125th year. We have had a wonderful celebration and events this year with our fundraisers. Thank you for all your support with these events. This month our themes will be Creative Movemnet and the holidays. Speaking of holidays, we will be CLOSED on December 23rd, 26th and the 30th. Also we will be closed on Jan.2nd 2012. We would like to welcome new babies to our room; Scarlet, Elora, and Saphnia. Sadly we have to say goodbye to Mikayla, she will be moving away and to Kade who will be moving to the toddler 1 room. Don't Forget to turn in your holiday reservation sheet by December 12th. Remember as you travel to be with family and friends, please be safe and may we all enjoy this Holiday Season and be most grateful for our most precious gifts, our children. Thanks The Infant Room

Can you believe we are in November already? The year has flown by and we will be saying Happy Birthday to Sydaleigh, Montez, and Jerri this month. We will also be saying good-bye to Donnie as he moves up to the world of Toddlers. The themes for this month are Fall, Families, Turkeys and Thanksgiving. For the "Family" week we would like you to bring in a family picture for us to put up on our wall for the kids to view. December's Newsletter Can you believe it is December already? The year has just flown by. This month we will be saying good-bye to Keldon and Amauree as they move to the toddler room and welcome some new babies. We also want to wish Lynette and Maya a very Happy Birthday this month. Happy Spring!! Please remember to bring in changes of clothes for the spring weather. Our themes for the month will be Easter, farms & rain. The Easter bunny will be here April 1st. Week of the Young Child will be April 12th-16th.The theme will be Diner Days. The 12th is hat day (made in classrooms), 13th is crazy sock day & Family Fun Night. The 14th is 50's-60's day, 15th is pajama day & the 16th is crazy day. Family Fun night will also be our kickoff of our annual fundraiser. On Wed. April 21st Lifetouch will be here to take pictures. Dear Parents, We are excited to announce that we have a John Wood intern working in our room- Amber Kirk. Amber will be covering Infant breaks while Tammy learns some new tasks at the front desk. Tammy will be in the classroom in the afternoons. If their is enough interest in the St. Patrick's parade, Cheerful will walk in the parade, so come out and enjoy!! Happy New Year!! Welcome 2010. We want to say bye, bye to Noah and Jordan who are growing up so fast and moving to the Toddlers this month. We will be getting in a few new ones in their place. Dear Infant Parents, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Remember to check out Cheerful's website to familiarize yourself with it. Cheerful will be closed Thursday, December 24 & Friday, December 25th for Christmas. We will also close at noon on Thursday, December 31st for New Year's Eve. Our Winter Program will be held Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30pm in the gym. Cookies & punch will be served afterwards with a visit from Santa Claus. Tell Lynnette Happy Birthday on December 16th. Happy November our Infant Parents, Please help us out by working with the infants, that eat table food, with their untensils. Also, be advised that Cheerful will be going paperless at the new year. You will be given an access code to retrieve data on Cheerful's website. You will be able to access the monthly calendar & newsletter. We will post both copies on our windows where the carseats are, but it will be your responsibility to really monitor activites, not so much with Infants, but as your child grows their will be many more activities offered in the upcoming classrooms (especially in the summer).

Dear Parents, Our themes for October will be textures, fire safety, pumpkins & Halloween. Please remember to bring in a change of fall clothes. We also want to make sure the children have a jacket everyday as we will be outside weather permitting. On Friday, October 30th please remember to bring your child's costume for Trick-or-Treating uptown and also be here by 8:45am. Any volunteers will be greatly appreciated.
